Howard VanEs, M.A., ERYT500 has been committed to wellness and fitness for over 24 years. He has a deep passion for wellness, and a desire to help people learn about the many ways they can improve the quality of their health and lives through mind/body methods. His experience includes weight training, martial arts, yoga, stress management training, and work from his previous role as a psychotherapist. |
For the last 16 years, Howard has been a dedicated practitioner of hatha yoga and has been teaching yoga for the last 11 years in the Bay Area of California. Howard is the primary author and editor of the Letsdoyoga.com wellness book series, the author of Beginning Yoga: A Practice Manual, co-producer of the audio CD Shavasna/Deep Relaxation, creator of the "Yoga on Demand" audio program and publisher of the electronic newsletter, "Yoga Health and Wellness." In addition to writing about and teaching yoga, Howard also leads yoga teacher trainings, wellness seminars and retreats worldwide.
Howard received a yoga teacher certification from Mt. Madonna Center in Watsonville, CA and has also received training from the advanced studies program at The Iyengar Institute of San Francisco. Howard also has an M.A. in counseling psychology.

Susan Orr is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP), a certified Infrared Thermographer, and certified in Occupational Hearing Conservation. She holds a Masters degree in Industrial Safety from USC with thesis work in low-level industrial noise and short-term memory task error rates. She has an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation and is a member of the American Society of Safety Engineers. |
Currently, Susan is a Risk Control Specialist in the Global Technology Department for St. Paul Travelers Insurance working with high tech companies in the fields of biotechnology, computer chip/hardware manufacturers, software/information technology and telecom.
The focus of her work includes analysis and evaluation of organizational employee safety and health programs, workplace safety inspections, safety training, fleet risk management, evaluation of fire prevention, disaster preparation/business continuity and security efforts. Susan also serves on the St. Paul Travelers risk control committee monitoring the nanotechnology industry, focusing on employee safety and health. |
